Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Hi my name is Elizabeth and i live in texas. my question is once divorce is filed, can i legally move my child out of his primary residence before a temporary custody arrangement has been put into place? My husband just got out of prison and was gone for the past 18 months. (My son is 2 and a half) i have been his primary caregiver his entire life but i know the primary residence my son and i have been living in (now w my husband) has become unsafe and unhealthy for us both. I need to know if i can move out with my son legally before a temporary custody order has been set bc of disruption of the child.

Go ahead and move. Don't worry about it.

In fact, if your child is in a place that is "unsafe and unhealthy," you have a DUTY (as a parent) to take the child out of this environment.
