Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Emancipating a Teen in Texas at 17

I have a 17 year old teen (just turned 17) that has decided he doesn't have to obey any rules at home.

I know he can legally leave now, but can I force him out/emancipate him? He has a job at Tom Thumb that sees him working very close to full time and he has a high school diploma.

No, you can't.

Until he is 18, he is your responsibility.
