Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

enforcment of visitation rights

My ex, for the past 2 years has not allowed me to pick up my daughter, although there is a court order stating my rights. She knows I don't have the money to take her to court and simply refused to hand her over to me. I can not afford a lawyer, but I really want to see my daughter again. Is there anyting I can do.

Re: enforcment of visitation rights

You can inquire and see if you qualify for legal aid in your area, and if you don't, you can start saving up your money or see if family members will help you out. You've already wasted 2 years. If you can prove you actually were where you were suppose to be, at the time you were suppose to be there, and were actually denied possession (not just told not to bother to show up) you might be able to find an attorney who will work with you on the fees. Good luck!
