Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been engaged to a man for about 2 years. We have been living together forthe past 1.5 years. Last week he decided that I needed to move out. It is his house. He then decided that we were going to sell the engagement ring that he had bought me at the beginning of our engagement. I do not believe that I should return the ring. Am I legally obligated to return the ring?

If you have been living with him, then he needs to evict you.

The engagement ring was a promise to marry. You are not married. Should you return it? Depends on the circumstances.
