Engagement Ring
Is an engagement ring a gift or a contract of marriage? Does the person recieving the ring have to give it back?

The answer is that unless you can prove that it was part of a contract it is assumed to be a gift. There was a recent case where the guy got his ring back. However, getting the ring back is very rare.
