Estate
How can we make sure that my parents home is left to the family? There are health care providers that want the home after my parents die.

Your parents need a will. In Texas if they have a valid will, probate is easy. Without a will, it is more costly and time consuming.
You definately need to talk to an attorney that does a lot of wills and probate.
Good luck!
