Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex-boyfriend purchased lavished gifts for me during our 8 months of dating, including a 22K car that he paid cash for. He said the car was mine and even put the title in my name. Now he wants everything back or pay him the money he spent. He states that his attorney will contact me. Do I or should I give these items back?

Once the gift is made, it is final. I do not believe you are under any legal obligation to return the gifts.
