Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My ex-father in law was able to get my ex-husband released from jail by stating he was employed at his company. He was in jail for not paying child support in Texas. It turns out he is not employed there. If they both lied to the Attorney General and the Court about the employement, what are the consequences to them?

Don't focus on this issue. It's too easy for ex F/I/L to fake up some records.
Focus on this: Now that he is employed (so to speak), he must have the ability to pay child support. If he has the ability to pay and does not pay, back to jail he goes. Make him pay.
You could file a complaint with the district attorney about the perjury. I doubt it would go anywhere, though.
