Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My ex-husband the non-custodial parent gets 1st 3rd and 5th weekends starting at 3:30 when school lets out until Monday morning at 8 a.m. This past weekend I kept my daughter with me because I get her for Thanksgiving this year and the children were let out on Friday for Thanksgiving holiday. He is saying I violated the court order and he was supposed to have her from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on friday and that my holiday did not start until 6pm. Whos right so i know how to proceed in the future?

If you read your order carefully, it probably states that the provisions for holidays Christmas, Thanksgiving, and extended summer possession supersede the provisions for weekends.
However, you'll want to read carefully the provisions in your order that has to do with Thanksgiving. Does it state specifically that Thanksgiving possession begins at 6:00 p.m. on the day that school lets out?
