Ex-husband not paying court ordered child support
Hello,
I divorced my ex-husband when my son was 3 years old and now my son is 12 years old. My ex stopped paying court ordered child support 6 months ago as well as not paying the premimum for insurance on our son so now he is without the insurance that was court ordered as well. My son is ADHD and BI-polar he has had so many problems at school and at home with me because his father uses our son to get back at him for leaving him so I would call it severe emotional abuse to say the least. I do not have a lot of money. All I have is a deep desire to help my son and get him away from his father so he can not mess with his head anymore. My exhusband even tells my son that I'm satan and that I don't love him etc...I have taken my son to many many therpaist and all say that my ex should not have visitation with my son. I would like to know since I do not have enough money to hire an attorney what kind of forms and where could I get them in order to file contempt of court orders and also to make sure that is what I need to file and also papers having his visitation taken away asap till we can go to court over all of this. I'm at a loss and my heart breaks everytime he comes back from his dads because he acts out. please help.

Have you contacted the Attorney General's Office about doing an enforcement of the child support and health insurance coverage? It takes time but they should be able to help you with that. For the rest you need a good family law attorney.

Sorry. attorneys cannot recommend forms. What you want is much more difficult than you see on TV. Takes a lot of time, effort and resources. you would have to work, study and invest just like I did. Good Luck
