Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex-husband's girlfriend submitted a letter to my son's school saying she was his mother and would be picking him up from school every day. Is it illegal for her to claim to be me?

It probably isn't illegal for her to lie to shool officials, but it's stupid.

My suggestion: Mail them a copy of the child's birth certificate, and tell them that the child has only one mother.

And write to the girlfriend and ask her how long she was in labor the day your son was born.
