Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I have an existing child custody arrangement that follows the standard possession order. How difficult would it be (or is it possible) to modify this to the expanded standard possession order? I am the non-custodial parent.

First I'd approach the other parent and see if they will agree to a modification. The modification must be in the best interest of the child. I believe visiting both parents is in the best interests of the child. My understanding is that expanded standard simply means that when school is in session, You use the school as the exchange point so instead of dropping the child off at the other parents house you would take the child to school in the morning with the other parent picking the child up from school. Discuss this with a family law attorney in your location.
