Is there any way to expidite a hearing date in a family law case involving lifting a geographic restriction?

If you already have a hearing date set and the other parent has been served, then you probably were given the soonest hearing date available.

If the other parent has not been served yet, then you can't hold the hearing until the other parent is served, whether personally, by alternate service, or by publication.
