explanation of standard possession orders

The holidays are coming up and I am a little confused about the days that I will have my son. The Standard possession order states on odd numbers years. thanksgiving beginning at the time the childs school is regularly dismissed the thanksgiving holiday and ending at the time the childs school resumes after that thanksgiving holiday and i have my son the 1st 3rd and last weekend. so does that mean from 18th when school is let out through 28th when school returns? what about my exwifes regular weekend that falls on the 25th 26th 27th? please help
