Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex's mother is filing suit as an intervenor in a custody case. My ex lost custody of our daughter, and she currently resides in fostercare. I am trying to get my daughter to come live with me, and I have had a home study done by CPS where I passed it with flying colors. better actually. Now my ex's mother is trying to go to court and filed under family code 1002.004 (a) (1). I spoke to 2 attorneys regarding this, the first told me to let the lawyers argu it out, the second said for to take the home study and lable it Respondants exhibit 1, and hand a copy of it to the judge and grandma, and ask the judge to dismiss intervenors suit due to no standing. who do I trust?

You absolutely need to get your own attorney and listen to him or her. An attorney that just hears you describe the case does not have a full picture of what is going on. If the grandmother gets in, it will effect everything that happens in the future. The CPS attorneys might agree with you, but they do not represent you. You should not just let this be between the other people's lawyers.
