Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
extra curricular activities
My ex wife has put my 2 children into soccer and one has band. I pay child support monthly and I pay for their insurance and half of meds. She says I have to pay half of the soccer and band, etc. If I was financially able I would but I am not it's hard enough trying to support my new family. I have checked my divorce decree and it doesn't say anything about extra activities. So how do I know what I am obligated to do?

Re: extra curricular activities
Unless there is something in your decree that says you are to split the costs of such activities, you are not required to pay, but remember, she may use this as grounds to take you back to court for a child support increase.
