Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My ex-wife and I would like to change the custody of our children from her over to me. We would like to change everything over to the exact same visitation arrangements, just opposite as they were before. We will also agree to a child support arrangement for which she will be paying me. How do I submit this through the courts? I can take our old paper work and update it to reflect the new arrangement. Do I submit these through the court? Just curious the best way to go about doing this. Is it something we can do ourselves without paying for an attorney?

You need court approval. If it's truly agreed to, then a lawyer shouldn't charge you all that much to complete the paperwork. Although you can do it yourself, it is never recommended, especially considering the high stakes involved (these are your children, after all.) Also, the child support calculations can get rather intricate once you switch homes.
