Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My ex-wife an I have joint custody of our son. Even though she is the primary custodian, he lives with her parents while she lives 50 miles away with her boyfriend and collects the child support. I'm not sure if any of the money is finding its way to help support him or not. Neither her nor her parents will discuss this with me. Is there anything I can do to make sure the money is being used for his benefit?
Thanks,
Mike.

Yes. File a motion with the court to change the child support recipient (this is NOT a request for change of custody). It's covered by section 156.409 of the Texas Family Code.
