Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My ex-wife just mailed us copies of credit card receipts for co-pays and other over-the-counter medications such as tylenol, childrens advil, and aveeno medicated cream for exczema in the amount of $550, requesting reimbursement. Per an adjusted court order in January 2009, she was ordered to provide health insurance for our children since my employer at the time did not provide health insurance and I was ordered to pay $150 monthly on top of the child support amount. Is this something that will stand in court and am I obligated to pay her the $550? Who's to say that these receipts are all legit? Some do not specify any of our children's name or any name at all to whom the service was provided.

Read your order carefully. The order is what controls.
Usually, the order does NOT require you to reimburse her for half of her expenses for non-prescription stuff.
Yes, you are right to question these "receipts." Ask her (politely) for additional details, and for other documentation.
I absolutely agree with Mark Dunn.
However, as a parent, if my kid really needed non-prescription stuff, I would help the other parent pay for it.
Remember, your ex is not getting "rich" off this stuff. And it is helping your kids.
I assume that you visit with your kids on a regular basis. Are your kids having these problems? Do them complain of these problems? Talk to your kids in a casual, relaxed manner about this stuff - not like they are on the witness stand.
