Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Use of My Last Name

My ex-wife is remarried and at one time was continuing to use my last name and her married name separated by a hyphen. For whatever reason, she has suddenly stopped using her married name and has resumed using my last name although she is remarried. We have 3 children. Is there anything I can do legally to get her to stop using my last name? Not only am I remarried, but this has caused problems with my mail and companies that attempt to contact my current wife and myself end up contacting my ex.

Re: Use of My Last Name

Generally speaking, in Texas a person can use a name as long as they are not evading creditors or the law.

My mother and her sister-in-law had the exact same name (except for middle names) it was a nightmare for years - even after the sister-in-law died!
