Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Ex-wife is suing for primary custody

I was divorced 11/7/00 and an agreed order was signed by my ex wife and me wherein it stated that I was the primary conservator of the children. She pays 115 a month in child support. Now that she is remarried she wants the children back with her because she misses them. Her attorney is very unreasonable and will not reason with my attorney. I am fighting to retain primary conservator of my children and my attorney feels that there should be no problem, but my ex wife's attorney basically told my attorney that she is going to ''bleed her client dry''. She's going to ask for home studies, etc. whatever it takes so I will eventually give the children to my ex. My attorney has filed a frivolous suit against her attorney. My question is this - What are the chances of a judge just handing the children over to her? I have a very stable home and I am involved in my son's cub scouts and my daughter's gymanastics every week. The case is being heard in Parker county - thanks

There is a rare chance that you will lose custody

of your children once you have formed such an

significant bond with them, work with your

Attorney.
