Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
ex-wife taking pictures of the inside of your house
i just went to court to finalize my divorce and she showed pictures of the inside of my house. it was dirty and there were dishes in the kitchen that hadnt been cleaned.
it came out that she took the pictures when my girlfriend and i were in dallas whan my mother was dying we had left in a rush after a call from my dad and we caught a very last minuite flight. and i asked her son (my stepson)to get my truck to return a piece of rental equipment so i wouldnt have to pay a large late fee. i gave them the keys to my houes to get my truck keys.
i was wondering if i have any recource here or do i just let it go.

Re: ex-wife taking pictures of the inside of your house
The answer depends on what you accomplished already, and if you want to change the outcome.
You say that you went to finalize the divorce -- if your divorce is now final and you are satisfied with the outcome, then do nothing. She got in a last dig at you -- so what.
On the other hand, if the divorce is now final, and you are dissatisfied with the outcome, and you believe that there is additional evidence that would change the outcome, then appeal. There are strict deadlines for an appeal.
If the divorce is not final, there is time to introduce controverting evidence of the condition of the house, as well as other relevant issues.
