Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

What can I do when the ex has failed to return my daughter when her court ordered visitation time has ended? I was given exclusive right to determine the primary residence of my daughter in the divorce decree. Consider also that she has kept my daughter in Washington state and the court order involving custody is here in Texas, where I (and my daughter) live. Can I also include other federal assistance in regaining my daughter?

You need an attorney. You can file a petition with the court to enforce the order, and request a writ to return the child. You have legal options, and you need to exercise them. If he is in violation, the court will often grant you the relief you seek, including your attorney fees.
