Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

false accusations from ex-wife

My ex-wife is claiming that I have hired someone to murder her. She has filed police reports, saying that someone is following her with direction from me. She has now secured 24 hour security. Noe of this is true and has no basis. We are preparing to enter a modification of custody trial in the next few months. What recourse do I have? How can I prove that I am not involved?

Ah, proving the non-existent fact -- one of the hardest things to do. Surely you are not involved in litigation this hostile, without an attorney. If so, then hire one today -- if not, then this is your lawyer's job -- and you need to trust him/her to know what they are doing.
