Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

false charges filed against me

My exboyfriend took a boxcutter & cut his finger where he tattood my initials. He ended up in hospital for it. Now he is saying i did this to him & has filed charges against me. And another charge for theft. He's claiming I stole his property when I went back to our apartment to get the rest of my things. I have witnesses who where with me when at the time one was the maintenance guy. And he forged my signature to take me off the apartment lease without me knowing. I have copies of this. My ex has an extended criminal history. He is in a gang. He is a drug abuser. What do i do ? How do I prove my innocents? Am I really going to jail for this crazy made up lie? What charges can I file against him for these false reports?

Sounds like you need a criminal attorney. Assault, theft, and forgery are not family law matters. Good luck.
