Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
family
My Father recently passed away and left no will. Two yrs. ago he warrantied me his land. Does that mean everything and anything on the land is in my control?

It depends, and if anyone is contesting this, you need to meet with a lawyer who works in probate, wills and estates.
Generally, when property is deeded away, it is then the property of the grantee, and the grantor's estate would have no remaining interest in the property. If there are leases (oil, gas, royalty, residential, commercial, etc) they may have value, obligations, and MIGHT have been retained. Property that is not permanently affixed to the property may also belong to the estate (ripened crops, tractor etc).
