Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Family Issues

Right now my husband and I are thinking of splitting up but right now we haven't decided anything. But my entire family, parents and siblings are getting involved, to the point that they are forcing me to work things out with my husband, when we already tried and it didn't work, and they are telling me that they will take my son away, who is 18 months old. My husband may fight with words, but that's about it, we both are just not speaking to each other right now, and there hasn't been any harm to our son, we both take good care of him, and if we argue, one of us leaves the room, or we wait until he is asleep. But my parents don't want my son to go through this and neither do I but I just want them to leave me and my family alone, so how do I do that when they are threatening me by telling me their going to take my son away from me, is that possible? I stay at home with my son now, and I take good care of him, but my family plans to go against me and say things that aren't true about me, so what can I do to defend myself? Thank you!

Re: Family Issues

Wow! Sounds like some serious family issues.

Generally speaking, the parents rights are superior to all others.

I don't go outside of Harris County. If you are outside Harris County I highly recommend PAT BUSHMAN at 713.807.9405. Please tell her that FRAN sent you.

I offer a consultation for $100 an hour just to discuss your options.
