Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My daughter is visiting her dad in Texas. She wants to come home next month but he said she can't until Aug. before school starts. She is going to be 16 in October. Can he make her stay and what are my options.

Without knowing what the Order/Decree says there is no way to tell. If it is his period of possession he doesn't have to let her leave early. Her age has nothing to do with it.
