Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Family Law Issue

My ex is contacting the AG's office to force me to pay for medical expenses that he has a court order for. I am already living below poverty & cannot afford to pay. He is already getting Child Support. How can I protect myself? I can't afford to financially support him, I do not earn enough to support myself due to Disability. I cannot afford to pay for legal aide at all. Most free legal services refuse to help me.

Re: Family Law Issue

You need to file a motion to modify your child support to reflect you reduced income. The obligations in your decree will stay the same until a judge changes them. Keep looking for a lawyer.
