say you were separated for 25 years but you never go and get a divorce but you marry someone without getting a divorce. is this valid or invalid

You need to remove the impediment in order for your newest marriage to be valid. In other words, you need to divorce your fist husband before your second can be called a husband under the law.

Your question is really too complicated to discuss in an email. I need to know additional information.

If you are married to 2 people at the same time it is illegal and a crime.

However, if it was a "mistake" I recommend that you immediately divorce #1.
