What if the father has custody of one child but the mother takes him out school for 5 days

I'm not sure what you are asking. If the father has custody & the child misses 5 days of schools unexcused then dad is looking at being held responsible for for it - potential fines and/or jail through the school system.

Dad might want to talk to a family law attorney immediately.
