Father Has custody
If child shows up on the door step on the mother who live in another state. Would the mother get arrested?

I doubt you would get arrested. However, I would believe it to be very important that you immediatley seek modified orders so that a Judge is aware of and agrees with the current situation.
Your modification MUST go through the Courts to be legal!
