Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Father died and there was no will. His common law wife says everything is going to her. My father and I spoke of things that would be left to me and she was informed of this. But now that my father has passed away she came up with a story that she spoke with him 2 days befor his death and he changed his mind. He wasn't even competent for the last 3 days of his life. What can I do?

Hire an attorney because in Texas you, as his child, might be entitled to a portion of his estate. What you can get is determined by the intestacy laws of the State of Texas which are too cumbersome to explain here. Most attorneys will do free consultations which can answer your questions about this siuation.
