Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My father died in 2009 by wrongful death. I will be getting money from it. I recently got married in 2013. If my husband and I were to get divorced would he be grated or able to get half of the money I will be getting from my father's death?

If you comingle the money. You must keep separate property (which an inheritance is) separate from your marital property. Put it in a separate account and NEVER put community funds into that account.
