Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

the father has been raising son since 4 months old as she abandoned the baby on the door step od the father s home. the mother has now went and got custody of the child and file a writ of attachment for the child to be brought to court. is there a way to stop the writ of attachment

Dad should file a paternity suit (NOW) and ask for temporary orders. He has standing as the child's father and also under section 102.003 of the Family Code.
