In Harris County, you can call the Harris County Domestic Relations Office and see of they can help free of charge.

They have several locations and many phone numbers. One of their phone numbers is 713.755.4355.

They are another government agency that has been much faster than the Texas A G office but as their caseload grows, I suspect they will get slower too.

You can hire a private attorney. Our deposit for a contempt hearing is $750 since we will ask the court to order her to pay our attorney's fees. It's up to the Judge, of course, but we always ask for it. Our newly revised website is www.familylaw4u.com. If you see any errors, please understand that I'm still proofing it!

He needs to file an enforcement action with the Attorney General -- if he contacts the Texas AG Office, they will help him.

The AG will take months. If you want to wait, OK. I do these cases on contingency and advance expenses to be reimbursed on collection. Contact me by e-mail if you're interested.
