Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Father Seeking Custody
I am a father of a 2 year old boy. My spouse and I have been having some problems and are going through a divorce. She had an affair, moved out of our home, took the child and moved in with another man. I filed for divorce immediately and asked for a hearing for temporary orders. At the hearing, she admitted having the affair and moving in with him. The judge ruled in my favor and awarded me the child with temporary joint custody with the exclusive right to determine primary residence and me to be able to stay in the home and gave her visitation and told her to stop seeing this guy. I am continuing to pursue having the ''primary'' custody as part of the final divorce. My spouse is fighting this as well as going after everything she can financially. I would like some opinions regarding my chances and outcomes. Also, how significant are the temp orders taken into consideration for the final outcome?

You obviously have a very competent attorney. I would urge you to follow your attorney's advice.
I would advise you not to shop for opinions. Only your attorney knows the facts of your case.
Good luck!
