can i have the right to not let the father of my son see him if he has a drinking problem?

Define "drinking problem."

If Dad shows up staggering drunk and intends to put your child into his vehicle and drive away, don't let him have the child (in fact, it's a crime for you to allow your child to be in a situation that endangers him).

Otherwise, you can file a motion for modification and ask the court to order Dad not to consume alcohol while he has the child in his possession (nor eight hours beforehand).
