Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Father needs help

I have a 2yr old daughter that I have supervised visitions with her mother until the age of 3. The reason being her mother and I had some issues which made things diffcult. Now the mother has decided that she wants supervised visitions with a court approved source, which I cannot afford, my mother is willing to do it for free, but my ex- wife does not agree. She has with held my daughter for a month now unless I'm willing to pay. Do I have any other alternatives?

Re: Father needs help

You can always go to back to court and ask to modify the current visitation order.

You need to carefully read your decree. The mother just can't change the rules if she decides to unless the decree states she can do so. If she's violating the court's order that is contempt.
