Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Fathers Day visit attached to summer visit

The father requested Fathers Day weekend ending on Sunday at 6:00. Then said that the summer visit would begin on that same Sunday at 6:00 and then be for the 42 days allowed. Can he do this or would the summer visit of 42 days be calculated from the Friday before Fathers Day? The child was never returned to me after the Fathers Day weekend.

Re: Fathers Day visit attached to summer visit

This is extraordinarily petty. The order controls the visitation. If the father has violated the order, he is subject to contempt. By now the child has been returned and the whole matter is probably moot.
