Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
HELP Fathers Rights
My son, Zeik, is just over 3 years old. In febuary just before his birthday she moved from San Marcos back to San Antonio. She took Zeik under the understanding that he would be put in daycare. She did not do so and we agreed to split custody. As the months have passed though she lets me see him less and less and is now denying me access to him at all. This brings up a few questions.
1 Is it legal for her to deny me access to him? Will it be frowned upon when we go to court?
2.Her mainbabbysitter, her sister, has been known to put on a movie for HER children and smoke Marijuana in the other room. Further more I've witnessed her hitting her own children on their heads. My question is what recourse do I have. I dont even know this sisters address. Could I give CPS my Ex's address and number?
3.We have a CSRP mediation on the first of June. Since I am now intending to seek custodial conservatorship what should I do about this meeting?
4. I am going to call legal aid soon but wanted to first ask if anyone knew of a good fathers rights lawyer in or around San Antonio who would be willing work pro bono or at the very least make some kind of payment plan?

Re: HELP Fathers Rights
If you have real evidence or supporting testimony of your "knowledge", that would be really great. Pro bono lawyers are hard to find. It costs a lot of money to be a good lawyer and pro bono doesn't pay the bills. You might be able to find someone to work for a payment plan but even then there's going to be a pretty good retainer.
