Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Please help us! My fiance and I have been having trouble with his ex. Recently she has been calling him saying that her baby is his. The baby has another guys name so i assume he signed the AOP and is on the birth certificate but I am not sure. She has been threatening to put my fiance on child support for about the last 3 months. We returned home from vacation a couple weeks ago, to find a letter stating that she has filed child support against him and they were schedualed for some kind of negotion meeting. That was set for this morning. My fiance went but the girl never showed up. When he spoke with the represesntative in the office they told him that she had not been cooperating and had not done what she was supposed to do prior to the meeting. They told him that if they could not reach her and she did not cooperate that the case would be closed. They said that she could re-open it any time until the child turns 18. Is there any thing we can do? We are both tired of this girl making accusations and harrasing my fiance. What can we do to establish paternity if she will not cooperate with the OAG I doubt she is willing to cooperate with us. If she decides to re-open the case in 15 years can she still file for back child support if it happens to be his? What can we do? Please help!

If he wants to be proactive, he needs to file a suit to determine paternity, have her served and get a court order to establish paternity. If paternity for the child has not been established, he might as well find out now if this is his child.
