Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My fiancee is currently filing for full custody of his daughter. Is there any legal way to keep his daughter from her mom until the custody is final? Her mom is always on drugs and her boyfriend keeps loaded guns around the house, we do not want the child in this kind of environment. We have recently just been keeping his daughter and avoiding the moms phone calls but i am not sure how much longer that will work. Any information would be helpful.

Talk to your attorney. You can ask for temporary orders. If you don't have an attorney, you definately need one!
