Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Fighting for a move with full custody

My husband has had his 7 year old son his whole life, and the mother has never been in the picture. Nither of them have any legal cutody. One day, the mother took him without consulting anybody. We got him back (in a legal way through the court) and now she's trying to fight back for full custody of him. What I would like to know is how likely is it that she would get any custody? Also, would we be able to move to a different city or state with our son?

It sounds like you have a family law attorney now. Speak with him/her about the test that the courts use and what evidence could help as well as hurt your position. Needless to say, if there is continuing negative interactions between the two, try to document as much as possible in a diary or journal.
