Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have been fighting my ex wife in court over child support. I paid 550 a month for a year before I won custody of My Daughter. She has been ordered to pay 100 she did not she was then asked to pay an additional 40 for back support and another 40 towards court cost, she has not. She is now behind a total of two years and has never paid. Three months ago she started having seizures and says she is too sick to pay. She missed court last thursday claiming she was in a hospital but the court called the hospital to confirm and she was released the day before. She has been calling the court house telling them she can't pay and she is claiming to be indigent. The judge has now appointed her counsel so she can defend this claim. He revoked the probation she was on but to this point has refused to go after her. Where do I go from here???

I'd start by sending some serious pre-trial discovery to her lawyer. Make him work for his money.

You probably have grounds to terminate her parental rights, if you're interested in doing that.

If she has some kind of physical condition, the Judge may be reluctant to put her in jail, since the county would then be responsible for her medical care. This happens all the time. I could tell you stories.
