Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can I file charges against the woman that broke up my marriage?

This woman was having an affair with my husband, which she meant while working at a strip club, that lasted 5 years. During the last year of my marriage (19yrs.), and the 5th year of their affair, she had my husbands baby. She also has two more but she is not married to either of their fathers. Although she was married when she was having an affair with my husband. I knew nothing about it until she should up Christmas Eve 2001 at 2:30 in the morning drunk, this was all after my ex asked me for a divorce, and informed me about their baby, as well as beat up and bit my ex. All in front of my son who was 16 at the time.

Four years have passed and my ex and I are now friends and I love his son. I spend a lot of time with them and this seems to making her mad. Now she has turned me in to CPS for hitting her son. Which is a ball face lie and I have at least a dozen people to testify to that.

What can I do to stop her from trying to ruin my life more than she already has and keep peace?

She has shown up at my exs house on more than one occasion drunk and my son and ex have had to call the police to get her to leave. Also, she has been reported to CPS for locking her son, 3 at the time, in a room for 6hrs. so she could sleep! Help!

Re: Can I file charges against the woman that broke up my marriage?

From what I read in your post, the only person being harrassed is your ex and your son. And they have responded appropriately by calling the police.

You had a complaint against her at the time of the divorce, but if not pursued then, it is too late now.

She's a drunk, she's an adulteress, she's a liar, and she is jealous of your relationship with a man that treated both of you badly.

And now, you expect responsible behavior from her?

Get affidavits from those people who are your witnesses. Give them to CPS. If CPS pursues the case, you need to hire a lawyer.
