can i file for child support for my 5 year old little girl and not have her father get joint custody or anything . he has been in and out of jail and has warrants out for him and is not a good person i dont want him to even know my daughter but i could use the help financially. he's threatned me the whole nine yards wished me and my baby dead i think he's bipolar.?

You would file your petition for paternity and allege that the father should not have any visitation. At the trial, you would bring in evidence to convince the Judge to make that kind of order.
