Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I want to file a motion to modify custody of children. My children's mother and I have agreed to switch custody of my children. I will have custody of them. I want to know what forms I need to fill out to take to the Judge and file this motion. Will this form also stop the child support payments from being deducted from my pay, or do I need another form for that?

There are no 'set' forms. You can retain an attorney in the jurisdiction of the court that issued the order to be modified, or research the forms at the county courthouse law library. The Petition to Modify can include language for conservatorship, possession, access and termination of child support; however it is usually a good idea to have a separate order of termination in addition to the order of modification (which included termination of the child support).
