Can I file for sole conservatorship without filing for child support?

You don't have to ask the Court to order the other parent to pay child support. However, the Court will probably order it anyway.

Remember that in a Court case involving a child, you don't have absolute control over the outcome - you can ask for certian things, and even make certain agreements with theh other party, yet the Judge may say, "I'm not going to do it that way, because it wouldn't be in the best interest of the child."
