Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

How do I do I file a written answer to a petition to establish parentage ?

I have been served a petition to establish parentage and would like to know how to go about filing a written answer ? What form do I use?

In addition she has taken a temporary restraining order out and I can't see my daughter. What can I do? Again, can I file a form in response?

Thank you

Go to your local law library and look up answering a lawsuit in Texas Litigation Guide (if you're in Texas). If a TRO has been granted, a hearing will be held within 14 days, so you can make your responses in front of the judge. You would be better off with a lawyer to represent you because most judges listen more intently to lawyers rather than lay persons if front of them. That is not to say that the judge won't give you a chance, but they usually expect you to be prepared with legal knowledge rather than just facts if you are going to represent yourself.
